Privacy policy

Draft for review. Items marked [To confirm] need a decision before publication. Have this policy checked by a legal adviser before the site goes live.

This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information when you use GetHiredSystem.com, book a call or attend a Get Hired System workshop.

Who we are

GetHiredSystem.com is operated by Sade Professional LLC, trading as Get Hired System, 8 The Green, Suite A, Dover, Delaware 19901, United States. We are responsible for your personal information. You can contact us at [email protected].

[To confirm with a legal adviser: whether we need to appoint a UK or EU representative under UK GDPR or EU GDPR, as a business based outside the UK and EU that offers services to people there.]

Information we collect

When you book a workshop: your name, email address and billing details. Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.

When you book a call: your name, email address, the time you choose and anything you tell us about your situation. Calls are booked through Zoom Scheduler and held on Zoom.

When you attend a workshop: anything you choose to share during the day, such as details of your work history, your CV, the jobs you are applying for and your questions. Your name and image may be visible to other participants on Zoom. The workshop is recorded, so what you say and show on camera may appear in the recording. The recording is shared only with the people who attended that workshop. You can keep your camera off if you prefer.

When you contact us: your name, email address and the contents of your message.

When you visit the website: basic information about how the site is used. See our cookie policy.

We do not ask for special category (sensitive) personal information. Please do not share it during the workshop unless you are comfortable doing so.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • process your booking and payment
  • send you your booking confirmation, joining link and preparation details
  • run the workshop and answer your questions
  • arrange and hold calls you book with us
  • respond to your messages
  • keep the business records we are required to keep by law
  • understand how the website is used, so we can improve it

We will only send you marketing emails, such as news of future workshops, if you have agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time. [To confirm: whether we will send marketing emails, and how people sign up.]

Legal basis for using your information

We use your information:

  • to perform our contract with you, when you book and attend a workshop
  • on the basis of our legitimate interests, when you contact us or book a call, and to run and improve our business
  • to meet our legal obligations, such as keeping financial records
  • with your consent, for marketing emails

Who we share it with

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information.

We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as far as they need it:

  • Stripe, for payments
  • Zoom, for booking and holding calls, and for delivering the workshop
  • [To confirm: email provider], for booking and joining emails
  • [To confirm: website host], for hosting the website
  • [To confirm: analytics provider, if any], for website analytics

We may also share information where the law requires it.

Some of these providers are based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where your information is transferred outside the UK or EU, we rely on the safeguards these providers put in place, such as standard contractual clauses or the UK and EU data bridges with the United States.

How long we keep it

[To confirm the retention periods. A suggested starting point:]

  • Booking and payment records: for as long as we are required to keep them for tax and accounting purposes.
  • Workshop information you share: no longer than [To confirm] after the workshop.
  • Call bookings and messages: for as long as reasonably necessary to respond and keep appropriate business records.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from loss, misuse or unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
